International contemporary sculpture exhibition
THE PARK OF AGILE’: A PRESTIGIOUS SHOWCASE FOR CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS

Beginning from the 10th of June, the Park and Garden of the Castle will host the second edition of the International Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition, curated by Luciano Caramel and organised by Riccardo Cordero for the APA.

The exhibition, which is financed by the Council Office for Culture of the Regional Authorities of Piedmont, avails of the collaboration of the Superintendencies of Turin, which have assured the High Surveillance of the same through the work of Giovanni Cordero (Superintendency for Historical, Artistic and Demo-ethno-anthropological Heritage) and Daniela Biancolini and Giuse Scalva (Superintendency for Architectural Heritage and Landscape in Piedmont).

Internationally renowned artists will also participate in the event. Their installations – which will enliven the streets and avenues of the Park and the Garden for the entire summer season, as well as the Ducal square in front of the Castle and the fountains and glades, will give a sense of continuity to the art of the past, comparing themselves with the artists who gave form to the statuary of the Residence during the great Baroque era.

The exhibition will be open to visitors for the whole of September, subject to the purchase of a ticket for the Park and the Garden.
