The Mill
FROM WHEAT TO ELECTRICAL ENERGY AT THE FOOT OF THE CASTLE

The current mill rises up at the foot of the ramparts of the Castle, along the west side of the monumental complex and it overlooks the current mill square.

There were originally two mills.

The current one, which is upstream, was used for milling corn, the second one, a little further downstream, was destroyed during the 1960’s. It had been used as a track for hemp and later to produce electrical energy for the Castle.
