The circular fountain is part of the seventeenth century phase of the complex. It is situated at the foot of the stairway in the centre of the main façade.

It is now part of a lawn at the edges of which there was an English-style garden during the nineteenth century.

The fountain is supplied by a network of canals which supply each of the fountains and water features via gravity feed from the lake.
