The Maniscalcia
A LARGE GLASSHOUSE UNDER THE ROOF GARDEN

The great vaulted gallery overlooking Mulini square. This area was originally used as a winter shelter for large cast iron and wooden vases containing lemon trees, myrtle-leaved orange trees and other species of citrus fruits.

During the 1880's, large vases of citrons from the gardens of the Royal Palace in Turin were sent Aglič when the greenhouses of the Palace were dismantled for the transformation of the complex into the headquarters of the Antiques Museum.

The Maniscalcia complex upholds the terrace garden or roof garden on a double set of vaults.
